A small outing

The plumber had to mend my shower. He sat in his van outside my house doing his paperwork and I went off to the bus stop. Here he is, in the first van.
I took 2 buses. This one is going through Portsmouth city center where we have some pretty good flower displays.
Now I am at the museum. Built in 1897 this amazing building was initially used as Army Barracks.
First stop - a sandwich lunch at the Tea Rooms!
The first display was:

The Game of Life: A new exhibition exploring family life in Portsmouth between 1920 and 2009.

Here's a pushchair from the 1950s

A nursing bra from the 1970s

And a shroud made by a newly married wife in the early 1900s.It was not found until after her burial, many years later.

Seeing so many different items switched on my creative brain cell and I have more ideas for my Etsy shops!

I'm glad you are not just sitting at home with your pain. A day at the museum sounds like fun!

Sharona, thank you, yes, I was ready to get out and about. The physical pains were not too bad either :)

Valerie, I know what you feel like. I get all hung up and excited about street signs and drain covers and all kinds of things in other countries which are the same, but different. I find it mega exciting. That is a do not enter sign,

Most of my days tend not to be boringly normal, KimberlyRose. They can get a little too much at times and I have been known to yearn for a quiet, normal day, hehe.
